Dr. Paramsothy Jayakumar elected ASME Fellow

Dr. Paramsothy Jayakumar, Senior Technical Expert in Modeling and Simulation (M&S) of U.S. Army GVSC and ARC Executive Committee Member, has been elected a Fellow of ASME. This is an honor that has been conferred on only 3,427 Fellows out of 74,788 ASME members.

The Fellow grade of membership recognizes exceptional engineering achievements and contributions to the engineering profession and to ASME.

For the ARC, Dr. Jayakumar has served as a Thrust Area Leader from 2010 through 2019, and as an Executive Committee member from 2020 onwards. In addition, he has contributed and guided many ARC research projects as the GVSC stakeholder, ensuring transition of research outcomes to the Army.
