Dr. Doyl Dickel receives NSF CAREER grant for atomic modeling research
Dr. Doyl Dickel, part of the research team on ARC project “Materials design of polycarbonates at the atomistic scale with machine learning”, received the NSF’s Faculty Early Career Development (CAREER) award. This award provides almost $700k in a grant to support his research, “developing machine learning models that can incorporate the magnetic properties of iron and cobalt when modeling potential materials for use in items such as electric motors and steel.”
