Manish Bansal

Associate Professor of Industrial and Systems Engineering

Manish Bansal is a associate professor of ISE department of Virginia Tech. His team has research background in the theory of integer programming, stochastic and distributionally robust optimization, and their applications in combinatorial optimization problems such as production planning, network design and facility location.

Ph.D., Industrial and Systems Engineering, Texas A&M University; M.S. (Thesis), Industrial and Systems Engineering, Texas A&M University; B.Tech., Electrical Engineering, National Institute of Technology Kurukshetra, India; Main interest is in Operations Research, including Mixed Integer Programming, Stochastic and Distributionally Robust Optimization, Computational Geometry, and secondarily Production Planning, Facility Location, Healthcare, Robotics, Power Systems.
