Associate Professor, Mechanical Engineering

Dr. Vermillion is an Associate Professor in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Michigan. He possesses over a decade of experience studying both the theoretical and practical aspects of hierarchical control strategies. His work in this area ranges from theoretical studies of the stability and optimality properties of hierarchical model predictive control strategies to the application of hierarchical control strategies on both automotive and energy harvesting systems.
