 Software Archive

Most research conducted at the ARC produce software code and methodologies that are transferred to TARDEC and industry partners. These include tools that study the trade space of vehicle system choices, or aids towards sub-system optimization, and many other applications. Some of these are available for general research use (non-commercial) only. The MLibrary Deep Blue archive maintained by the University of Michigan Library hosts downloadable copies of several ARC computational models and sofware.

General terms of usage can be read here. Certain clauses are modified for specific software in the Read-me-first text files in each package. Please email queries about using our software to arc-software(at)umich.edu.

VESIM - VEhicle SIMulation for Hybrid Electric Vehicles

VESIM is a feed-forward simulation tool implemented in MATLAB / SIMULINK to study the potential fuel economy and emission benefits of a hybrid propulsion system. This simulation framework is used in many of our collaborative case-studies integrating multi-component modules.
