Zhen Hu

Zhen Hu is an Associate Professor in the Department of Industrial and Manufacturing Systems Engineering (IMSE) at the University of Michigan, Dearborn. His research areas of interest are uncertainty quantification, risk and reliability methods, systems health monitoring, machine learning, optimization under uncertainty, and applications in mechanical systems. He has published over 45 articles in referred journals and 24 articles in conference proceedings. He has won the best paper award of Intelligent System Center at Missouri S & T in 2013. His papers were selected among as the top 10 best papers in the ASME Design Automation Conference (DAC) in 2012, 2014, and 2016.
