Solomon Adera
Assistant Professor, Mechanical Engineering
Dr. Adera earned his Ph. D. in Mechanical Engineering from MIT. He was a postdoctoral associate at the Harvard University before moving to the University of Michigan. His research interests include heat and mass transfer, phase-change (evaporation, condensation, freezing), water/fog harvesting, micro/nanoengineering, and fluid-structure interactions. He has been recognized with multiple awards from ASME and NSF for his research, mentoring, and professional contributions in the fields of thermal-fluid sciences.
