Dr. André Boehman appointed Vennema Professor of Engineering and named Fulbright U.S. Scholar

The prestigious Vennema professorship was established in 1980 by a gift from Catherine and Ame Vennema, BSE ’32, to support scholars whose work will impact the technologies of tomorrow.

Dr. Boehman‘s appointment was marked by a ceremony on April 12, where he gave a lecture “Adventures in Fuel Chemistry: Challenges in Alternative and Renewable Fuels”.

In other news, Dr. André Boehman was named a Fulbright U.S. Scholar for 2023-24. He worked at the College of Engineering, University of Vigo, Spain in Fall 2023.
